Match IntelAI and talent technology

AI recruitment for candidates and recruiters, in one platform.

Match Intel helps candidates find the right roles and helps recruiters screen and rank applicants, with AI doing the groundwork and people keeping the decisions.

Match Intel is an AI recruitment platform with two sides: candidates find roles that fit them and prepare for interviews, recruiters screen and rank applicants, and people keep every final hiring decision.

The starting point

Recruiters spend hours on CVs that were never a fit, and candidates send applications into systems that filter them out before a person reads a word. Match Intel set out to fix both ends at once: less manual CV screening, better matching and faster hiring, with human oversight of every final decision.

What we built

For candidates: AI job matching, a job board that ranks roles against each candidate's skills and profile, ATS optimisation of a CV, AI-assisted applications, interview preparation with structured feedback and skills assessments. For recruiters: AI candidate screening, AI-assisted prescreening interviews against the role's criteria, candidate ranking and recruitment analytics. The AI interviews, the applicant tracking and the job portal run as one product.

How we worked

We scoped and designed both sides as a single product rather than two tools, so a candidate's profile and a recruiter's criteria speak the same language. The candidate side came first, then the recruiter side, then analytics and the integrations with applicant tracking systems.

The technical choices

AI does the groundwork and people decide. Matching, screening, ranking and prescreening interviews support the recruiter; they never make the hire. Integrations with applicant tracking systems run through their APIs, so recruiters keep the systems they already use and Match Intel works alongside them.

Where it is now

Match Intel runs as its own platform for candidates and recruiters. Its COO describes the engineering as genuinely high end, built at the speed a startup needs.

How it was built

Match Intel, phase by phase.

What each stage of the project delivered, in the order we built it.

  1. Phase 1

    Scope and design

Both sides of the platform, candidates and recruiters, scoped and designed as one product.

  2. Phase 2

    The candidate side

AI job matching, ATS optimisation of a CV, AI-assisted applications, interview preparation with structured feedback, and skills assessments.

  3. Phase 3

    The recruiter side

AI candidate screening, AI-assisted prescreening interviews against the role's criteria, and candidate ranking.

  4. Phase 4

    Analytics and integrations

Recruitment analytics, and integrations with applicant tracking systems through their APIs.

Inside the product

Testimonial

In their words.

They built the platform at the heart of Match Intel: AI-led interviews, our ATS and the job portal, working as one product. The engineering is genuinely high end and they move at the speed a startup needs. I would work with them again without a second thought.

Industries

The same problem, industry by industry.

The industry this project sits in comes first. Pick another to see how the problem shows up there, and what we build for it.

Software and SaaS

The problem

The roadmap is full, support tickets keep pulling engineers off it, and the internal tools are scripts nobody owns.

What we build

A support agent that learns from your docs and past tickets, resolves the routine questions and routes the rest with context.

Healthcare and clinics

The problem

The front desk spends the morning on reminder calls and rebookings. Patient records sit in one system, invoices in another, and nobody sees which patients have quietly stopped coming back.

What we build

An agent that answers booking and aftercare questions around the clock and passes anything clinical to a person.

Usually connects to

Professional services

The problem

Senior people spend their evenings on time sheets, engagement letters and status reports. Knowledge lives in inboxes, so every new case starts from a blank page.

What we build

An agent that drafts first versions of letters and reports from your templates and past matters, for a person to review and send.

Manufacturing

The problem

Orders arrive as PDFs and emails and get typed into SAP by hand. Planning runs on a spreadsheet that one person understands.

What we build

An agent that reads incoming orders and delivery notes, checks them against SAP and asks a person only when something doesn't match.

Usually connects to

Talk about your industry

Orders that reach SAP without a keyboard.

Retail and e-commerce

The problem

Customer service answers the same twenty questions all day. Returns are processed by hand, and by Friday the shop, the stock and the books disagree.

What we build

A support agent that answers order and return questions from your shop data and passes anything unusual to your team with the context attached.

Usually connects to

Talk about your industry

Shop, stock and books that agree on Friday.

Logistics and travel

The problem

Bookings, changes and documents arrive by email at all hours. The team types them into three systems, and customers call to ask where things stand.

What we build

An agent that handles booking changes and status questions, and passes disruptions to a person with the full history.

Usually connects to

The customer knows before they ask.

Finance and insurance

The problem

Applications and claims arrive as documents and get checked by hand against rules everyone knows by heart. Every audit means a week of collecting evidence.

What we build

An agent that reads applications and claims, checks them against your rules and prepares a decision for a person to sign off.
